The Secretary General of Ahlul Bayt World Assembly said: “Immunity from distortion, bright character, being a savior, promotion of the Quran, the concrete embodiment of the Quran, the sign of the manifestation of God, being the healer of the healers are among the signs that Hazrat Zahra (S) and the Holy Quran are equal.”

According to the public affairs department of Ahlul Bayt International University, the mourning ceremony for the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS) was held today, Monday, November 27th, at Ahlul Bayt International University.

Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, Secretary General of Ahlul Bayt World Assembly, gave a speech in this ceremony:

“According to some historical books, today is an important day. Of course, it should not be limited to such sessions and scientific meetings should be held for women about the dimensions of the personality of Hazrat Zahra (S) and discuss the Islamic view of Hazrat Zahra (S). As a true Muslim woman, this character can be a role model for the humanity and religious society. Therefore, it should not be limited to the prayer sessions, but one should look for sessions imbued with the concept of Fatima (S) to get to know the Fatimi school of thought. It is also desirable to cry, as Hazrat Ali (AS) wept in order to mourn Hazrat Zahra (S), and Hazrat Zainab and Hasnain shed tears in the mourning of this great lady.”

The Respect the Prophet (PBUH) Had for Hazrat Zahra (S)

“The Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) had special respect for Hazrat Zahra (S) and when she entered, the Prophet would stand up in front of her and sit Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) in his place. The type of respect shown here is different. Sometimes we say hello, sometimes we get up, sometimes we go towards that person and sometimes we sit them in our own place as a sign of special respect. The Prophet of Islam (PBUH) respected Hazrat Zahra (S) because of her unique personality. In these sessions, we should get to know the dimensions of Hazrat Zahra’s personality.

Hazrat Zahra’s life was short but influential. Hazrat Zahra (S) was a woman active in the field and responsible for various duties. While she was a mother and instructed the best upbringing with the least facilities, she undertook many responsibilities in order to awaken the society and also in the cultural and political arenas. This school of thought has produced many outputs and Hazrat Mahdi (AS) says that the daughter of the Prophet (PBUH) is a role model for me and not only women and girls and mothers but also men can learn from Hazrat Zahra (S) in terms of moral, intellectual, servitude, practical behavior, and mysticism.”

Hazrat Zahra (S) Is Equal to the Holy Quran

“She is equal to the Quran and the Holy Quran is a holy book and falsehood has no way in it and is immune from distortion. God has said: ‘Indeed We have sent down the Reminder, and indeed We will preserve it.’ (Hajr: 9). When the Holy Prophet talks about the virtues of Hazrat Zahra (S), he says to be aware that God has assigned a group of angels to protect her, who are always with Hazrat Zahra (S) and are very kind to Fatima (S), her father, husband and children. It is similar to the interpretation that God has used about the Quran as a manifestation of absolute truth.

The second point is that the Quran and Hazrat Zahra (S) are similar in terms of being bright and pure. The Quran is light, and it says: ‘So have faith in Allah and His Apostle and the light, which We have sent down, and Allah is well aware of what you do’ (Taghabun/8). Closeness to the Quran brightens the actions, thoughts, and temperaments of human beings. If you have a bright friend, you will become bright, and if your friend is immoral, you will be drawn in the same direction. The same interpretation has been used in the case of Hazrat Fatima (S). She is the light that lived in the presence of and according to the light of the Holy Prophet and she has been interpreted as light in human clothing. He had two aspects; heavenly and corporeal. The heavenly realm has its own characteristics, and in terms of philosophy, its creation is authorial, because it is incorporeal. The corporeal aspect, material estate and its creation are gradual. From aspect of light and purity, she was created in the distant past, or to be more precise, she was authored, that is, the existence of Hazrat Zahra (S) is heavenly and corporeal. It is a sophisticated task to denote an authorial figure to the heavenly aspect and a creative figure to the corporeal aspect. There are many verses which point to this bright and pure aspect.

The third point is that Hazrat Fatima (S) is equal to the Quran. Quran is the rope of Allah and the rope that connects man to God. It is stated in the Quran: ‘And hold firmly to the rope [142] of Allāh all together and do not become divided’ (Al-Imran: 103). Fatima (S) is the strong rope of God that connects man to the truth. In relation to Imams (AS), it is also interpreted as Habalullah. The Prophet connects the creation to the Creator. It is mentioned in the narration that the role of the Prophet (PBUH) and Hazrat Zahra (S) is to be the messenger of God and they connect the earth to the skies and the corporeal to the heavenly.”

The Quran and Hazrat Fatima (S) Are Inseparable

“The fourth point is that Fatima (S) and the Quran are not separate from each other. If a person has the Quran and does not have Fatima (S), he will not find the way to the truth. Fatima (S) is the physical embodiment of the Quran. Sometimes we are in the presence of the Quran and we kiss it and read it and pay attention to its interpretation and meanings, but if the Quran is to be realized outside, what form will it take? It comes in the form of Hazrat Fatima (S). For this reason, Fatima (S) without Quran and Quran without Fatima (S) will be meaningless.

The fifth dimension of the equality is that the Quran is considered a compilation book, and this compilation book should be placed next to the book of creation, and Hazrat Fatima (S) is the manifestation of the Quran, and in order to achieve happiness, we must consider the Quran as a compilation textbook of human life. Fatima (S) is a guidebook of the Quran.

The sixth point is that the Quran and Fatima (S) are signs of God’s manifestation. Hazrat Amir al-Mu’minin (AS) says that God manifested himself in the Quran. It has been said about the Prophet (PBUH) that when he passed away, the greatest manifestation of God passed away and Hazrat Ali (AS) said that something was lost that cannot be attained anymore. When Hazrat Zahra (S) passed away, a part of God’s manifestation passed away, because she was the one who spoke to the angels.

The seventh point is that the Quran and Hazrat Zahra (S) are equal in being proof. We do not have a proof higher than the Quran and Hazrat Zahra (S) is a proof for us.

The last point is that both of them are healers and their healing quality is accepted. Therefore, one of the titles of Hazrat Zahra (S) is the healer on the Day of Judgment
