Inauguration of the Specialized Laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering at Ahl al-Bayt (a) International University
The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Ahl al-Bayt (a) International University announced:
The specialized laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering at Ahl al-Bayt (a) International University have been inaugurated.
According to the Public Relations Office of Ahl al-Bayt (a) International University, Mehdi Shalchi Tusi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Ahl al-Bayt (a) International University, emphasized the need for establishing specialized laboratories in the country to strengthen research and educational infrastructure, aiming to improve the quality of teaching and research in engineering fields. He stated that enhancing the quantity and quality of theses towards addressing current issues through innovative approaches is an important area to focus on.
Shalchi Tusi stressed that establishing specialized laboratories in the country is essential to strengthen research and educational infrastructure. He mentioned that this initiative can help improve the quality of teaching and research in engineering fields.
The Dean also highlighted the importance of improving the quantity and quality of theses, noting that this focus should be directed towards solving contemporary issues using modern methods. This approach can help students confront real-world societal challenges and provide practical, effective solutions.
He stated that with the launch of the new laboratories, research costs will significantly decrease. This reduction in costs can contribute to optimal resource management and familiarity with and utilization of modern technologies.
Regarding the new laboratories, Shalchi Tusi said they are equipped to provide all necessary tools for civil engineering, architecture, electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, and mechatronics programs. These laboratories offer students in these fields the opportunity to gain the practical and scientific experience they need using advanced and modern equipment.
He pointed out the positive impact of the new laboratory on the quality and accuracy of students’ research work, stating that this laboratory will directly help improve the quality and accuracy of research, addressing previous challenges faced when using other universities’ laboratories.
The Dean concluded by saying that updated and additional equipment will soon be provided for the laboratory.
