on the first Monday of October, the International Union of Architects (UIA) celebrates World Architecture Day — a day dedicated to honoring architects and their vital role in shaping a more beautiful, sustainable, and human-centered world. Architecture is not merely the art of construction; it is the art of living. An architect weaves science, emotion, and culture together to create spaces where the human spirit finds harmony and meaning. In Iran, architecture has long reflected the profound cultural and spiritual essence of this land — from turquoise domes and Persian gardens to traditional houses across diverse climates, each a testament to the creativity and wisdom of Iranian architects.
