Religions and mysticism
The students of this field study mysticism as one of the comparative topics in religions and especially get acquainted with Islamic mystical literature. They also get to know the history of the emergence and expansion of primitive religions and living religions (religions that still have many followers) and three basic parts. They study rules and customs, beliefs and ethics in every religion.
Overview
The goals of launching the field of religions and mysticism
1. Increasing the knowledge and awareness of scholars regarding the important religions of the world, in various aspects of history, mythology, theology, mysticism, customs and rituals, and studying and familiarizing with sacred and classic texts.
2. Institutionalizing a scientific and methodical attitude towards the traditions of different religions of the world
3. Identifying and introducing authentic scientific and research resources studied in international academic communities to students and researchers
4. Training of researchers who, with a deep understanding of knowledge and moral values, while having a wide and deep familiarity with the religious and theological topics of religion, can explain religious sciences in various dimensions and work professionally in presenting and defending them.

6. Development and promotion of awareness and knowledge in different regions of the world in the field of theoretical, practical and moral mysticism.
The living religions studied in this field are divided into the following three groups:
1. Abrahamic religions and the religions of Iran before Islam: Judaism, Christianity and Islam, whose prophets are descended from Abraham, and the beliefs of Iranians before Zoroastrianism, Zoroastrian religion and rituals derived from it, including Manichaean and Mazdakian religions.
2. Far Eastern religions, which are the religions of China and Japan, and include Confucius and Shito.
3. Religions of the Indian Peninsula which include: Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.
